This refers to the Queen Emma Bridge in Willemstad, the swinging old lady.
The Koningin Emmabrug, Pontjesbrug or Queen Emma Bridge is a floating pontoon bridge made of wood and steel that is over 100 years old. It connects the two districts of Punda and Otrobanda.
It is just under 10 meters wide and 167 meters long and can be completely moved to the Otrobanda shore side for ships to pass.

What is a Maribomba?Answer
The yellow paper wasp (Polistes versicolor), which is common on Curacao, has the funny-sounding name Maribomba in the local language Papiamentu.
This name has its origins in the Bantu language Kimbundu, in which wasp means “marimbondo”. Once again, the connection between Curacao’s slavery past and the influence of an African language on the creole language Papiamentu becomes clear.
We were told that the sting of a maribomba is quite painful. But so far we have been spared.
