Mambo Beach Boulevard borders directly on Mambo Beach: a hip shopping mile with a collection of restaurants and stores over two floors.

In the stores you will find almost everything your heart desires: from beachwear and accessories, beauty and cosmetics stores, snorkeling and diving accessories to souvenirs and designer stores.

The large selection of restaurants means there is something for every taste.

    Hato is the name of Curacao International Airport (CUR), the only international airport on Curacao.

    There are also the Hato Caves or Grottoes of Hato. These are a network of limestone caves. They are located opposite Hato airport.

    Perhaps you could take a look at them on your departure day? The planes to Amsterdam don’t usually take off until the evening anyway. From the cave entrance you have an excellent view of the airport, the taxiway and the runway. Worth seeing!

    What is the Blue Room?

    The ‘Blue Room’ of Curacao is a cave near the dive site Mushroom Forest on the coast of Santa Cruz. It is located between Boka Hulu and the black beach Playa Santu Pretu.

    Sports enthusiasts can reach the cave from land. The entrance is difficult to see from the water: just a slit in the surface of the water. Inside, the round cave is completely bathed in blue light, hence its name Blue Room.

    The Blue Room is ideal for snorkeling or for the end of a dive, as it is just under 6 metres deep.
