Kadushi is a cactus native to Curacao. There are cacti that are inedible and also the Kadushi cactus, whose “meat” is used to make a traditional soup. In addition to the cactus pulp, the green soup contains vegetables, fish and other ingredients, depending on how it is prepared.

Klein Curacao is the uninhabited neighboring island of Curacao, located approx. 11 km to the southeast. The smaller of the two white stars on the Curacao flag represents the island, which is just under 3 kilometers long and 1 kilometer wide.
It is a popular excursion destination by boat. The only attraction is the old, red and white lighthouse, which forms a beautiful contrast to the barren landscape and the blue sky.
Even more attractive are the coral reefs and shipwrecks around the island, which attract numerous snorkelers and divers.
