Where do the goods on the floating market come from?

The goods on the Floating Market mainly come from Venezuela. The proximity to the South American coast, with Venezuela only 60 kilometers away, makes it very easy to transport fresh produce such as fruit, vegetables and fish by boat.

The boats are docked directly behind the market stalls in the waters of the Waaigat. Well worth a visit!

    The jet is so powerful and the noise so loud that you might think a pistol being fired.
