What is a Kunuku?Answer
A Kunuku is a traditional house, usually with a door in the middle, a window on the left and right and a roof made of corn stalks or corrugated iron. With a little imagination, the facades of the simple farmhouses look like faces.
As you drive across the island, you will see them again and again at the side of the road, some in ruins, some renovated. Slaves used to live in Kunukus.
In the Kas di pal’i maishi outdoor museum, just past Barber on the way to Tera Korá, you can learn all about the houses.

What is the Blue Room?Answer
The ‘Blue Room’ of Curacao is a cave near the dive site Mushroom Forest on the coast of Santa Cruz. It is located between Boka Hulu and the black beach Playa Santu Pretu.
Sports enthusiasts can reach the cave from land. The entrance is difficult to see from the water: just a slit in the surface of the water. Inside, the round cave is completely bathed in blue light, hence its name Blue Room.
The Blue Room is ideal for snorkeling or for the end of a dive, as it is just under 6 metres deep.
