When do I get the local price?

Antwort

The local price is the price for something adjusted to the usually lower income of the locals.

For some expenses (e.g. internet or car rental) you can try to get the local price. For other expenses, you should be more “generous” and honor local commitment. The balance makes the difference here!

Don’t demand the local price, but rather be happy if you get the local price as a tourist at some point and somewhere. It helps if you find out in advance what things usually cost locally.

    Alternatively, you can walk a few meters further, past the Iguana Café to the end of the canopies. At the ferry pier, the oval, white and blue ferry boats, which look the same from the front and back (like toy ships), will take you from one shore to the other for free.
