The beaches of Curacao
For you, a snow-white beach with the finest coral sand is part of the perfect Caribbean vacation? A romantic sunset with the sun reflected on the sea and the fireball slowly falling into the water on the horizon should be guaranteed in any case? Then you’ve come to the right place on Curacao!
The most famous beaches of Curacao are in the west of the island, which guarantees your very own picture-perfect sunset. And you are spoiled for choice: from the quiet and natural miniature beach, where you will not find any loungers, catering, etc., to a top equipped hotel beach with power sockets for your mobile phone and beach service. You will find every conceivable beach variant here. It’s just up to you and your mood: peace and relaxation or party and cocktails?
This diversity is exactly what makes Curacao so special! The west and east of the island are fundamentally different. While the aforementioned bathing and snorkeling beaches can be found in the west, the east of the island is characterized by rugged rocks, high waves and beaches that do not allow entry into the water. Instead you will find harsh natural spectacles like Boka Pistol here – meter-high water fountains in front of which you can take impressive photos for your Insta story.
And, if you want to spend a little more time on Curacao and don’t just want to party: It’s a “once in a lifetime” experience to be involved in “beach cleaning” on one of the beaches in the east of the island. The sea mercilessly washes the plastic (and all other garbage) of our civilization onto the beaches. Green Phenix and the Sea Turtle Conservation Center are constantly collecting and recycling plastic and thus contributing to a cleaner environment. We have visited (almost) all the beaches and are introducing them to you one by one. For each beach there is an article with photos and our rating. We have just started producing additional videos of each beach and will basically take you “to the beach” with us. We talk to people on the beach, visit all the facilities and collect impressions for you with the drone. This is new territory for us and we’ll definitely get better with every video produced. Just give us time. Our goal: “to take you on site” instead of just “writing about it”.
