In general, soups on Curacao are our tip. It is always recommended to eat something warm when it is hot rather than constantly eating something ice cold. How about something from Pindakaas? No, this is not cheese, but a wonderfully exotic peanut and banana soup (Peanut Banana Soup). Plus it’s vegan!<\/p>\n
Is it possible that you are more into meat? Then our reports on the popular \u201cStobas\u201d are for you. A Stoba<\/a> (English: \u201cStew\u201d) is a type of \u201cCaribbean goulash\u201d, made with beef or goat meat<\/a>. Accordingly, it is always braised for a long time and melts in your mouth. Tasty side dishes are served with funny names like Funchi<\/a>, Moro<\/a> or Tutu<\/a>. Delicious!<\/p>\n

In Papiamentu<\/a>, this is florin or heldu, but the locals say something similar to g\u00fcldis or gilders when they tell you the price in their currency. The currency is stable, at least since we visited Curacao for the first time in 2017.<\/p>\n
